Regarding the Riviera hotel...If you plan to party and just need a toilet and a bed to crash in...come here. If you want a room without peeling plaster & missing/nonworking bath fixtures, and you like to have a washcloth (and a towel that's not threadbare), and want more than Spanish TV channels...DON'T COME HERE!!!! Oh yes, and despite their web listings...there's no restaurant or bar either!
